On April 14, 2022 we received two babies Karakaxakia who were left orphaned when a crew pruned the tree where their nest was located. Together with other organizations we have sent a letter to the ministries, emphasizing the wrong way of pruning the trees that has been adopted by most municipalities in the country and asking for a ban on their pruning during the breeding season.
