It took about two hours to take the juvenile Hooded Crow back to safety, as it was hanging at a great height. The whole procedure took place at the centre of Thessaloniki and it was very difficult as there was no potential of accessing the bird but only through the nearest balcony, about 6 meters away the cypress tree where the bird was hanging. The bird bears injuries on its feet, both of which are dislocated and at the same time exhaustion must have probably caused more damage to its vitals.
Many thanks to Eleni D. and Vasiliki F. for notifying us and for their help and effort.
